PSAT/NMSQT--October 17th

The test will take place at Hamilton. Students should arrive between 7:30 – 7:45 am. 

Students arriving after 8:00am will not be admitted.

Testing will begin promptly at 8:00am and will end around 11:30/12:00.

The PSAT will be online so ALL testers will need to bring their CUSD-issued laptop.

Hamilton offers testing spots for current 9th, 10th & 11th graders.

Registration will open August 3rd.

Registration deadline is September 4th.

The cost of the test is $25, and is NON-REFUNDABLE*. Payments can be made through Infinite Campus Parent Portal or in person at the bookstore. Payment can only be made after completing the Total Registration form online and then after the fee has been added to the students Infinite Campus account.

(*Due to the small cost of this test in comparison to national tests or test-facility fees, the test fee is completely non-refundable. Completing the online Total Registration form is an acceptance of the non-refundable $25 exam fee for this test administration.)

Scholarship opportunities: Junior year, a high score on the PSAT could qualify your student for the National Merit Scholarship Competition.  This may result in thousands of dollars and opportunities 
to attend a prestigious university.

Free Test Preparation: Save hundreds of dollars on test preparation books or tutoring. The exam 
provides a detailed score report.  Your student can link their scores to Khan Academy to create 
an individualized SAT test preparation program free of charge.

Practice, Practice, Practice: Multiple exposures to the PSAT will prepare students to take the SAT 
at the end of their junior year.  This is often the first experience students have with a timed standardized test. Practice tests are available on Khan Academy.
